Later, I consulted Dr. Girish Autade, an orthopedic surgeon Fracture Trauma and Ilizarov surgery specialist. in Govindnagar Nashik. He performed the surgery with Ring type External Fixator-Ilizarov surgery Ankle fusion and limb lengthening. It was successful My non union fracture united. Shortening was corrected by limb lengthening process. Now I can walk perfectly fine and even drive vehicles. I am very grateful to Dr. Girish Autade for performing my surgery and making me walk.

That time my age was 18 years, my three fingers were severely crushed and other two fingers were also damaged, and there was severe skin loss. Normally in such injuries, whole hand has to be amputated . But ,at Ashwini accident, multispecialty Hospital Orthopedic and Hand surgeon Dr Girish Autade gave me an option of saving 2 to 3 fingers and suggested multiple surgeries,in stages. I accepted it and successfully my thumb and little finger where saved and I was cured in three months time. I was advised physiotherapy which I did regularly along with occupational therapy ,due to which I was able to join back to work in 4 months. Now I am able to do all my work with my right hand which has only two fingers. I do my cooking work at home like cutting vegetables, making rotis and preparing the whole food .also washing clothes and other household work,easily and effortlessly. As, I continued education and have join as a IT person. I do all the computer work operating the keyboard easily with my two fingers of my right hand, operating the mouse. I write with my right hand two fingers. She is started walking after surgery in few days time and recovered completely till today. 20 yrs ago my aunty Manjula Gite and Uncle Shankar Gite were operated discectomy was done for Prolapsed Intervertebral Disc (PID). They recovered completely and are working in the farm doing all field work. Both the spine surgeries were successful . They also did good back physiotherapy.
